ACM clad – This stands for Aluminium Composite Material, but is also commonly known by the brand, Dibond. It’s made from two thin coil-coated aluminium sheets bonded to a non-aluminium core (polyethylene or foam). Printed ACM can be applied straight onto site hoarding to promote new developments, while adhering to health and safety regulations. It’s a superb material for hoarding because it flexes and is very durable, offers sound reduction and is fireproof. The overall affect is a streamlined, contemporary look and feel.
Acrylic – Perspex® is a well-known brand of acrylic sheeting. It is a tough, transparent, versatile thermoplastic used in many applications, particularly in visual communications, design and architecture. Acrylic is very resistant to shock, flexing, scratching and weathering. It comes in many colours and finishes and is totally recyclable. We apply acrylic shapes to hoardings to bring them to life, as well as for use in general signs and wall installations. It can be sprayed in different colours and makes brand logos stand out. We often use it self-coloured or reverse printed acrylic for stand-up letters, CGI pictures on hoardings and building exteriors.
Aluminium – A strong, light metal used widely in industry, aluminium is the most abundant metal on the planet. It’s malleable, so it’s easy to make into whatever shape we need, and it’s resistant to corrosion. We use aluminium for architectural features and walls, fingerposts, desk receptions, built-up letters and extrusions for banner frames.
.040 Aluminum is a rigid material that hangs straight and will not rust if chipped or scratched. It is one of our most popular materials and works equally well with any of our sign posts or frames. It comes with a high-gloss, powder-coated finish and is recommended for all seasons. Note that a little extra care is required when handling this material to prevent corner bending. Optionally, .040 Aluminum is available with 3M™ Reflective vinyl coating for greater nighttime visibility.
.063 Aluminum is a rigid material that hangs straight and will not rust if chipped or scratched. It is thicker than our .040 Aluminum, and is therefore less susceptible to corner bending, but still requires a little extra care in handling. It is recommended for use with any of our sign posts or frames. The material comes with a high-gloss, powder-coated finish and is recommended for all seasons. .063 Aluminum is also compatible with 3M™ Reflective vinyl coating for greater nighttime visibility.
Aluminum can be endlessly recycled without losing its quality. This makes it one of the most environmentally friendly metals on the planet. Incredibly, most of the aluminum ever produced is still being used today.

Correx – Also known as fluted, or corrugated, polypropylene board, Correx is an inexpensive and efficient way to produce temporary signs or displays. Tough and lightweight, it’s easily cut to shape and comes in any number of colours and thicknesses. Correx is fully recyclable and is used a lot for outdoor signs such as estate agents’ boards.
4 Mil corrugated plastic or cor-x is non-yellowing, lightweight, durable, weatherproof, and inexpensive, but can be translucent in bright light. There are flutes in the sign’s center, as this material is primarily used for directional signs with wire stakes. The material can be used as a main sign panel when used with a frame, but is not recommended for use as a hanging sign from a post. This material is also available with the 3M™ Reflective vinyl coating for greater nighttime visibility.
10 Mil corrugated plastic or cor- x is non-yellowing, lightweight, weatherproof, very durable, and rigid. This material is twice as thick as the popular 4 mil corrugated plastic, which makes it perfect for hanging signs, commercial signs, and heavy-duty directional signs. This material is also available with 3M™ Reflective vinyl coating for greater nighttime visibility.
PVC is the hardest of the plastic materials we offer, so like the metals it hangs very straight. It is recommended for use with any of our sign posts or frames. PVC comes with a gloss matte finish and is recommended for all seasons. PVC is also available with 3M™ Reflective vinyl coating for greater nighttime visibility.
Poly or polyethylene is a popular, affordable plastic material which is extremely durable. It has a soft matte finish and performs well in all seasons. Poly material will "bow" so it is not recommended for hanging from posts, but can be used with any of our many sign frames. If you’d like, we can provide poly with our 3M™ Reflective vinyl coating for greater nighttime visibility.
Styrene or polystyrene is an economical plastic with a nice matte finish that works in all seasons. It is a rigid plastic that hangs straight and can be used with all of our sign posts and frames. Please note the material may yellow after 12 - 18 months. Styrene is the only material which does not have the option of 3M™ Reflective vinyl coating.
This vinyl material is .030 thick. Perfect for taking your message on the road. Adheres to steel car doors only (not plastic or abs). Can cause damage to the finish of your car if it is not properly maintained in accordance with our "Magnetic Care Guidelines".
