Artwork Guidelines

Acceptable File Types
Following is the list of all acceptable file types (formats):
PDF, TIF, JPEG, EPS, AI and PSD (All layers must be flattened prior to submission)
 
Recommended Design Applications (Programs, Software's)
We recommend the following applications for maximum design quality and the best print results:
Adobe Illustrator®, Adobe Photoshop®, Adobe In Design®, Quark Express® and Corel Draw®
(Corel Draw files must me exported as one of the following formats: High Resolution PDF, JPEG, TIF EPS or AI and make sure all fonts are converted to curves

Resolution of Files
We require a minimum resolution of 100-150 dpi at 100% print size, or 200-300 dpi at 50% print size on all Raster Based designed and submitted files such as TIF, PSD, JPEG & etc.
Vector based files such as EPS or AI. Resolution is irrelevant and files can be reduced or enlarged to almost any size without loosing print quality.

Acceptable Media or File Transfer
CD ROM / DVD •
Online FTP (File Upload)
We strongly recommend that your files, regardless of size, be compressed with programs such as
WinZip or Stuffit prior to Email or Upload to reduce file transfer time.

Fonts (Text)
We recommend that you convert all fonts to Outlines / Curves where possible before submitting your design art file, if not please include all fonts used in File.

Color Mode
Save your design in CMYK MODE, we can also work with RGB files however we will be converting all RGB colors to CMYK mode prior to printing and this may cause shift in colors.

Artwork Size
We recommend submitting files at 100% final print size.
If not possible you may also design and save your graphic files at 50% (200-300 dpi) or 25% (400-600 dpi) of final print size.
(Please Indicate final output enlargement size percentage when submitting file).

Rich Black Printing
For the best results on printing Solid Blacks (Excluding text smaller than 30 pt.)use C=20%
M=10% Y=10% K=100%.

Banner Printing Guidelines
When creating your custom banner design layout, please follow these steps for the best results:
No bleed is required for banners (we will add proper bleed area to accommodate for hem).
Please do not place important objects, text and key elements too close to the edge of your banner artwork files as they may be trimmed off, hemmed or grommeted during finishing of your banner. For the best results keep your key elements of your design 1 ” to 1.5 ” inside from the edges (Trim Line).
Resolution of design document at final print size must be 100 to 150 dpi.

Tips and Helpful Notes for Banner Printing
JPEG files must be saved with maximum quality setting checked.
Banners must have at least 1.25 ” Safety Area for hem and grommet at final print size.
Live area of the banner should remain within the 1.25” bleed area.
Pole Pockets, If required, allow 4” Safety area on the sides where pocket poles are required.

Do you use spot or pantone® colors?
We only print 4 color process (CMYK). If you use Spot or Pantone colors, please have them converted to process colors (CMYK) prior to submitting your file.

What is the largest size file I can upload?
We can accept up to 2 GB files uploaded through our Ftp File Upload.

How do I send you my artwork?
We recommend that you submit your custom art files through our FTP File Upload page or you are also welcome to mail us your files on CD or DVD.
